I have hardwood floors throughout my house and an inlaid design on the first floor. I am selling my house this fall and currently there are several linoleum layers on the kitchen floor, one of which I laid seven years ago when I bought the house. I am going to refinish the floors on the first floor and I was wondering whether I should rip up the linoleum layers in the kitchen to see if there is a wood floor underneath and refinish at the same time I do the rest of the rooms. Would wood be better or should I just leave linoleum?
